solopsist, asleep is the newest in a slew of my monikers, a project in mind for the longest time but only recently coming to some degree of fruition. This project is intended to fall into the soft side of the ambient drone/contemporary classical spectrum, primarily influenced by one of my all-time favourite artists, Celer.

'ships/banks' was created over a period of multiple months, spanning two puredata patches with myriad functions - initially intended for part of an installation piece but, for now, comprising part one of a two-part release.

Soon to come is a short series of physical releases of ships/banks, all individually clipped out of the unending variation of the programs these sounds are borne from. Updates will follow.

I do hope you enjoy these pieces, as they are the product of many long nights and the labour of soft love.
